About Us

Founded 2015

Our journey began in 2015 and since then, we have grown into a professional team of volunteers who extensively fundraise each month ahead of their journey to a different location in crisis. Each volunteer effectively distributes aid in a professional and humane manner alongside NGO's and other on-site charities.

Raising Awareness

Alongside our valuable work on the ground, we consistently strive to raise awareness in the international world about the tragic effects of international crises and the continuing vulnerability of the refugees affected by war.

Our Work

OUR PROJECTS.

We have travelled across Europe and into Asia and Africa, delivering aid and support where needed.

EUROPE

We have been travelling across Europe since October 2015 supporting refugees in camps and in cities with immediate aid, medical needs and accommodation assistance. Recently, we have focussed on supporting refugees in Calais and Dunkirk alongside the amazing Care4Calais team. Our incredible donors send in clothing as well as donate funds for food with which we create hundreds of food parcels to distribute.

ASIA

Road to Freedom has provided support to families within crisis zones, responding to immediate and long-term needs. We are very proud to work with our partners on the ground in Palestine, Yemen and Pakistan who help to personally distribute aid where it is needed the most.

AFRICA

From providing food rations to 100 families in Sudan to providing school items for an orphanage in Ghana, we have worked with grassroot organisations to support vulnerable people across Africa. Over the years, we have been working in Khartoum, Sudan to support families and school children affected by the Sudan crisis.

10 Years of Road to Freedom — Documentary Screening

Over the past 10 years, we made a promise to the people we've supported to tell their stories. To spread awareness of the atrocities that they have been forced to live through and to share their voices with the world. This is what we've aimed to do in our documentary and last month we were able to share it with many of our supporters in London.
